This Year's Registered Supplements

This page will be updated once a week (usually on the weekend) with the latest registered supplements submitted that week.

In order of submission:

Fiasco Companion
Jason Morningstar and Steve Segedy

The Fiasco Companion is a supplement for the award-winning game Fiasco, a game inspired by cinematic tales of small time capers gone disastrously wrong. The book includes in-depth discussion of common pitfalls and solid techniques for making Fiasco games excellent as well as advice for writing your own Playsets and hacking the rules. In addition, the Companion features exciting rules variants, new Tilt and Aftermath tables and four new Playsets (Fiasco High, Regina's Wedding, Vegas, and Mission to Mercury).

The book also features a foreword by Wil Wheaton and interviews with an enthusiastic and growing cohort who are already taking the game into the classroom, the writer’s room, and up on stage.

Sexcraft: A Little Game with a Lot of Sex
John Wick

There is a kind of magic in the world that no one speaks about. It can sway the hearts of men and women, control their every thought and deed.

It has mastered kings and brought down nations. And yet, it is so subtle, its power is nearly invisible.

And the magic is sex.

Sexcraft is a Little Game with a Lot of Sex. It is a meta-game (much like The Flux) that you can place over any other roleplaying game.

It is a game for consenting adults.

Also includes the D20 Prestige Class: The Sexcraft Witch.

Gnome Stew, the Game Mastering Blog
John Arcadian, Patrick Benson, Walt Ciechanowski, Don Mappin, Scott Martin, Matthew Neagley, Martin Ralya, Kurt "Telas" Schneider, Troy Taylor, Phil Vecchione

Gnome Stew is an award-winning multi-author blog about tabletop RPG game mastering, written by GMs, for GMs. We started Gnome Stew because we believe that GMs are under-served in the RPG community. There are few websites and even fewer books dedicated to game mastering -- GMs usually get one chapter in a larger work, and that often doesn't address a lot of what we actually do at the gaming table. Here on the Stew, it's all game mastering, all the time, from system-neutral GMing advice and ideas to system-specific tips to help make running your games easier and more fun. We're all experienced GMs, and we love sharing our knowledge -- and learning new GMing tricks and techniques from our readers.

Old Gods: A Mortal Coil Supplement
Brennan Taylor

Down the rough streets of Philadelphia, a solitary figure walks. He is dressed in a shabby suit, giving all outward appearance of a normal person. Perhaps not entirely normal, his pale skin and the dark makeup around his eyes contrast with his pinstriped suit. A neon light shines onto the damp street ahead. It sits above an unassuming door, beer signs illuminating the small windows on either side. The sign reads "The Golden Bough."

Old Gods is a campaign frame for Mortal Coil. Old Gods still live among us, fading but not gone. Their followers are all dead and no one makes sacrifices to them any more, but they linger on, powerful yet useless.

Old Gods is a fully sketched out setting in the form of a detailed theme document, with all of the world set-up choices written out in detail. The frame is customizable by your game group. You choose a tone, and pick the magic level that is appropriate for your game.

Campaign frames are great ways to do a quick setup for Mortal Coil, and are ideal for playing a pick-up game or convention game. If your players really like the setting, the frame can be used for a longer term game as well. A campaign frame is also useful as a how-to on setting up a unique theme document of your own.

A Translation of Evil
John Almack

A Translation of Evil is a short adventure for the Macabre Tales roleplaying game. What if it were possible for a book to actually be evil? What if the written words themselves had the ability to inflict harm upon the reader? If so, how do you fight something that is, in essence, only an idea on a page? Will the protagonist succeed in translating this vile tome or will his fate be far more sinister?
